Express Entry
About Express Entry
The Express Entry system was launched in the year 2015 which creates a pool of candidates for immigration to Canada. Candidates are assessed based on a number of criteria, and the highest ranking candidates will be invited to apply to immigrate to Canada. There are requirements not only to get into the pool, but also to be chosen from it. To get into the Express Entry pool, skilled foreign nationals will need to meet the criteria of one of the federal immigration programs subject to Express Entry:
- The Federal skill Worker Program (FSWP)
- The Federal Skill Trades Program (FSTP)
- The Canadian Experience Class (CEC)
Federal Skilled Worker Program: This path is for skilled foreign workers with at least 1 year of work experience within last 10 years in NOC (National Occupational Classification) O, A & B, a post-secondary qualification and good command in English or French. The application is assessed based on the selection factors once the candidate meets the conditions set out in the minimum requirements.
Federal Skilled Trade Program: This path is for skilled trades people to immigrate to Canada. This path is available to those who have a minimum 2 years of work experience in an accepted occupation in the last 5 years and a Certificate of Qualification or to those who have a job offer(s) from up to two Canadian employers that totals at least 1 year of full time work and minimum language requirements in English or French.
Canadian Experience Class: The Canadian Experience Class (CEC) allows temporary foreign workers with at least one year of full-time skilled work experience* (or an equal amount in part-time) in Canada, to apply for permanent residence in Canada. If you have worked more than one year in Canada as a skilled worker then we can assist you in getting permanent resident status in Canada
